Back in December 2021, we set ourselves a goal to apply to CBC's Dragons' Den. It was a show we grew up watching and loved. So we did just that, and sent in our application.
We were lucky enough to win an audition with the show's producers, and we made sure to make it count!
Shortly after, we were so excited to get the news that we would be pitching in studio, to the Dragons. Now this didn't mean it was a sure thing that we would appear on the show, so our summer of 2022 was a LONG one.
We didn't know what to expect or prepare for. We also were under confidentiality agreements so we couldn't divulge much about what happened in our Dragons' Den pitch.
Well, as you can tell above, we were aired on episode 3 in season 17, and got a deal on the show!
